A few months after achieving EU membership, things seem to follow a predictable pattern: we are preparing for the first European Parliament elections to take place in a couple of months, the country ranks first in the region in terms of potential economic growth and foreign investment, new businesses are coming into the country daily, and the first Ikea store in Romania is announcing its grand opening this month.
